Annual Maintenance Checks

All annual maintenance checks performed by Warming Trends include the following:

• Clearances – Checking clearances of furniture, mantle, vent, etc. in regard to the unit.
• Fuel Delivery System – Cleaning and inspecting hoppers and augers.
• Glass Door / Firebox – Cleaning glass, burn pots, and ash traps. Inspecting door latches, door gaskets / seals, joints for cracks and leaks in fire chamber, and touching up paint as necessary.
• Log / Fire Backs – Inspected and cleaned.
• Heat Circulation System – Cleaning of heat exchanger or diverter plates and blower.
• Ash Pan – Clean and check ash pan gasket.
• Exhaust / Combustion Blower, Exhaust System – Remove and clean blower, blower gasket, pressure port adapter, horizontal and vertical exhaust ports, and expecting of gaskets.
• Vent System – Check for leaks and blockages and cleaning the vent.
• Operation and Safety Systems – Inspect start up, run modes and cool down modes. Observe flame and adjust restrictors as required and high limit controls.
• Face / Appliance Exterior Body – Touch up paint as necessary.
